Super Artist - Claire

Claire

“I first heard about Supershoes through a friend who also volunteers here and after seeing the boost a personalised pair of Supershoes can give a poorly child I knew it was something I wanted to be involved in. It's an honour to be part of such a unique charity and being able to see the difference we make to these little lives is a truly special experience”

Super Artist - Claire

Claire

Claire is an administrator for a department store in Norwich. She has been fond of art forever, starting out by drawing and painting, and has recently started sculpting with air dry clay.

“I joined Super Shoes because I was a child of cancer myself. I survived an osteosarcoma in my right femur when I was 17. I feel that keeping a child's morale up in such a tough time is so very important. Half the battle is having a reason or goal to stay positive. I had so much help and support during that time myself, I feel this is a great way to give something back. To actually be able to bring a spot of light into a child's life is such an amazing thing. ”
