A chance meeting on the football touchline has resulted in more smiles for poorly children. Here’s what Samantha, mum to Imogen and Caitlin (pictured) tells us: “I first found out about Supershoes through a chance conversation with another parent while standing at the side of a football pitch on a cold Saturday morning. It turned out that Imogen’s football team-mate was the daughter of the charity’s founders, so I learned all about the brilliant work that the charity does. Imogen and Caitlin were keen to help, and decided that instead of having a meal out at Wagamama (their favourite restaurant) for Samantha’s birthday, they would donate the money to Supershoes instead. Fast forward a couple of years, and the girls decided that they would like to make another donation. As a family, we all love the idea of helping a small, local charity whose work has a genuinely big impact on the lives of the children it helps. Keep up the amazing work, Supershoes!!”
Thank you girls! We will!
