Wow! What an unforgettable journey these guys have undertaken. Marcus and his friends Ollie, Archie, Annabel and Tori decided to drive 3000 miles, unsupported, across the Himalayas…in 2 tuk tuks! Marcus says, “The journey was extremely challenging with temperatures ranging from -15°C to 35°C whilst driving over some of the worlds highest roads. We loved every minute but wanted to do something memorable to raise money for this amazing charity. Thank you Supershoes for everything you have done!” The team became aware of Supershoes when someone close to them was supported by us. Thank you so much, Marcus and your Super team! Lisa Marie Barnfield of Mari B Art is one of our Super Artists - & she raised a lovely sum of money for us via Facebook.

Marianna Beckwith

Marianna has worked at Supershoes since 2013, so she has an appreciation of just how important fundraising is. For 2023’s A-Skip-A-Day-May, she decided to have a go and set herself a target of 6,000 skips for the month. Maths has never been her strong suit, so she needed the counting practice, never mind the exercise! Her final total came to a very respectable 7,500, and her sponsors were generous too, as you can see from the Supershoes below.

Marianna's Rowing Challenge

“I know what I’ll do. I’ll row across the Channel, virtually, on a rowing machine, at the gym!” It seemed like a good idea at the time our Super volunteer Marianna thought! She competed her sponsored rowing challenge ( 33.8 km or 21 miles) for Supershoes, awesome thank you Marianna!
