Sponsors

Every pair of Supershoes is funded by donations from kind sponsors, who come in all shapes and sizes…..

From parents of previous recipients who want to ‘pay forward’ the gift of Supershoes, to fundarisers who have organised an event of some description in order to make a donation. We receive one-off payments from some and regular sponsorship from others. Some want to remain anonymous, whilst others are happy to share their donation and/or story.

Here are some of those we are able to share with you.

 Sponsor - Noah Carrick

Noah Carrick

Super Noah was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma at 16 months old! When Noah received his Supeshoes he wore them all the time and his pictures were Postman Pat, Baymax, Liverpool F.C. and Minions. His Supershoes made him extra special. He fought hard but sadly lost his fight with his cancer aged 4.5 but he always wanted to give a special pair of super shoes to another warrior, so I hope you love them as much as he did x

Not so Dad Bods (Encore Fitness)

A talk from CEO Sarah White at a Freemason’s High Lodge meeting, was the inspiration behind the idea to raise money for Supershoes through an endurance run. Amos Wood who heard Sarah speak, was already planning an endurance race alongside a team of fellow fitness buddies from Encore Fitness so after Amos suggested Supershoes, the challenge was set! The 4x4x48 endurance run…a run of 4 miles every 4 hours, for 48 hours. Simple, no? Well, no of course it wasn’t! The “Not so Dad Bods” team of 8 started their run on a Friday at 6pm, finishing after run 12 at 2pm on the Sunday. You can read the full story of their endeavours in our News section. Suffice it to say, not all heroes wear capes, and here are a group of them right here! A tremendous effort, raising enough for well over 60 pairs of Supershoes! We really can’t thank you enough, Not so Dad Bods! All those smiles you will make are priceless!
