Reuben’s Journey
Reuben was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in March this year. There were increased complexities when a week later he was identified as having the Philadelphia positive strain. He has had to undergo intensive chemotherapy which has left him unable to walk. His mum hopes that Supershoes will be a way of encouraging him to get walking again. He is such a brave, happy, funny and charming little boy who has missed his twin brother terribly for the almost three month intensive stay he has had in hospital.
Reuben’s Diagnosis
Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) is the most common form of leukaemia in children under the age of 14, affecting around 400 each year. Find out more about Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia
