Super Jack’s Journey
Jack was due to start school in September, but because of his sudden diagnosis, this had to be postponed. Jack’s treatment for Burkitt’s Lymphoma involved a brutal 6 rounds of chemotherapy, which he handled so bravely, according to his family. He has responded brilliantly to his treatment and in November, his family received the fantastic news that he is now in remission. This also means that Jack was able to start school in January, which was something he was really looking forward to. Jack’s mum says that Jack will be wearing his Supershoes to school every non-uniform day. He’s hardly taken them off since they arrived! Jack is a huge fan of Jurassic Park and Marvel characters. Iron Man is a particular favourite, so Super Artist Sianne made sure he featured on Jack’s Supershoes, along with a dinosaur.
