Super Abigail’s Journey
Abigail was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in September 2021 after not being able to walk for nearly 8 weeks. She had a week in hospital with lots of scans and tests, and then a bone marrow biopsy which diagnosed her with Leukaemia. 9 weeks into treatment, she is beginning to get her mobility back. As you can see, this brave little trooper was thrilled to bits with her Supershoes, and couldn’t wait to get out and about to show them off!
Abigail’s mum says: “I just wanted to say a big thank you for Abigail’s Supershoes. She absolutely loves them and feels so special wearing them. She says they’re really comfortable and gets compliments wherever she goes. It’s so nice to get a compliment on her shoes rather than just the colourful headbands she wears. She was really pleased to be able to wear them to the non-uniform day at school too.” You’re so welcome, Abigail, we’re thrilled that your Supershoes have made you happy!

The Supershoes
Abigail is a huge fan of Elsa from Frozen and also loves unicorns. Super Artist Mandy made sure these were featured on her Supershoes, along with her favourite colours: pink, purple and orange.
