Super Harry’s Journey
In January 2022, Harry began getting wobbly for short spells and over a period of five weeks was sick one day per week. In early February whilst at school for a short period he was unable to walk and was taken to A&E That evening, following a CT scan, a large tumour was found in his brain. In a matter of hours, Harry underwent a 10-hour surgery to remove the tumour, which was later confirmed to be medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain tumour. The day after surgery he also began to show signs of Posterior Fossa Syndrome which for Harry has affected his balance, speech and understanding. 4 weeks after surgery Harry flew to Germany for 9 weeks where he had 31 sessions of proton beam radiotherapy and is now back in the UK having chemotherapy. We’re sending you all our love, Harry.
