Super Bethany’s Journey
Bethany had been suffering from sickness and headaches for some months before she was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a primary central nervous system tumour. She underwent a massive 9-hour surgery and then 30 Proton beam sessions. She is now having chemotherapy. Bethany’s Young Lives vs Cancer support worker referred her for a pair of Supershoes.
When they arrived, Bethany’s mum, Jenna said, “Well what can I say….. the smile on my daughter’s face when she opened her Supershoes was priceless! The artist has captured the design Bethany requested amazingly! She is absolutely blown away and over the moon! Amy has incorporated the characters requested and a design from each character’s movie to fill the shoe with Bethany’s personality shining through. Thank you so so much!”
