Super Isla’s Journey
Childhood cancer splits families. Whilst Super Isla was receiving very intense chemotherapy in hospital with one parent, the other one was looking after her big brother. This situation went on for months on end. It was very tough for all of them, but Isla’s mummy describes her little warrior as always having the most beautiful smile, as you can see from her photo!
Super Isla’s Diagnosis
Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) is the most common form of leukaemia in children under the age of 14, affecting around 400 each year. Find out more about Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia
The Supershoes
Isla wanted Peppa Pig and JJ Princess from Cocomelon on her shoes, along with stars and rainbows, flowers and sparkles. Of course, Super Artist Lynn made sure that happened!
We had such a lovely email from Isla’s mum: Thankyou to you all at Supershoes for putting the most priceless smile on our little girl’s face this week after receiving the most beautifully made shoes for her! She absolutely loves them and hasn’t stopped saying “I wear to school.” Her reaction was so priceless a very special moment we will treasure! She is definitely going to enjoy every second of wearing them.
